PRESS RELEASE (9/12/2022)
We are excited to announce that Niho Mano and the MAsT Houston Chapter are the Producers of the Texas Master/slave Contest beginning on 2023. This is the newest State Feeder to the Southwest Master/slave Contest Family, and we are looking forward to helping them get their Contest established in the coming year.
PRESS RELEASE (5/10/2022)
The Southwest Master/slave producers are excited to announce your 2022 titleholders, Master Michael and slave Rebekah. Master Michael and slave Rebekah were the Southwest Title Holders for 2019 and 2020. They graciously agreed to hold the SW title through 2020 when there was no contest held that year. They were unexpectedly forced to withdraw from the International M/s contest in 2020 because a member of their house became ill just days before they were to travel to South Plains Leatherfest. They feared this illness could be COVID so they decided to withdraw from the contest to protect the South Plains family and care for their household member through the illness. They believed they had lost their one opportunity to compete at International, due to this difficult decision.
Master Michael and slave Rebekah have stepped up and will serve as our Southwest Master and slave for 2022 (now, 2019, 2020, 2022), and will compete as our SW Regional Title Holders at International in March of 2023. Please give them your support and help as they step back into a Title Holder role to represent the SW Region for the remainder of this year and at the International in March of 2023.
Master Michael and slave Rebekah received their Southwest Master and slave Title Patches at Colorado Leather Fest on May 7, 2022.
Additionally, Master Trent and slave kelly feel this decision is in the best interest of the contestants preparing to compete in the next SW contest by giving couples in the Southwest region an opportunity to take time to prepare for the title run, which we are planning to hold in summer of 2023. As we get past this transition year of starting things back up post COVID, baring another world changing event, we believe we will have the Southwest M/s contests back on track on a regular schedule that will continue to foster support for the State, Regional and International Master/slave Title Contest track.
Welcome to the new home of the Southwest Master/slave Contest. We are excited to be launching this new website and ushering in the next chapter of the Southwest Master/slave Contest.
Within this site you will find the history of the SW M/s Contest, and the SW Region. You will also find the most current information about when and where the next SW M/s Contest will be held. And lastly, you will find information about the Contest, itself; requirements, how to apply to become a contestant, how the contest works, scoring, and more.
Please do not hesitate to reach out with your questions and feedback!
We look forward to hearing from you and meeting you,
Master Trent and slave kelly
